Lyrics

GYPSY PIRATE 7/20

WELL I WAS BORN A GYPSY IN A GYPSY LAND
MY MAMMA AND MY PAPPA HAD A GYPSY BAND
THEY SET ME UP TO SING ON A TOP A SOAPBOX STAGE
JUST BANGIN ON MY TAMBORINE WITH GYPSY RAGE
LET ME SEE YOUR SOUL
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

2. I'M A GYPSY PIRATE FROM YOUR GYPSY DREAM!
I WANNA MAKE LOVE TO YOU TILL YOU KICK AND SCREAM!
SO DON'T TRY TO STOP ME GONNA HAVE A GOOD TIME!
AND I'LL HAVE YOUR LOVE AND YOU'LL HAVE MINE!
LET ME SING TO YOUR SOUL!
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

INSTRUMENTAL INTERLUDE ACCORDIAN

3. NOW DON'T BE CRYING MY SWEET SHERRIE
I'LL SAIL AROUND THE WORLD AND CROSS THE SEVEN SEAS!
SO DON'T TRY TO STOP ME AS I DANCE AROUND
WE'LL BE DANCNING ANDA SINGIN TILL THE MOON GOES DOWN!
LET ME SING TO YOUR SOUL!
LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

Very cool/interesting piece. Love the accordion and the "ethnic" percussion... along with the vocalist it really has a unique "backwoods, nomadic" flavor... which is good/cool. The "travelling tempo" and authentic-vibe all work well with the lyrics and the subject matter of the song... very Gypsy-esque!

Interesting kind of unique and different sounding bluesy song with some attitude

The vocal inflection and overall lyrics are solid. Not a style of music I usually listen to, but is entertaining and with a little work on the mastering side, can easily be placed in various licensing opportunities.

Could fit nice in the right film
Well done

Well gotta say didn't expect this. It's like polka meets Bob Dylan.

This song has an old-timey feel to it. Something you might hear on an evening walk as you happen upon a hobo camp. Nice instrumental riff, quite memorably played on the accordion.

Attitude! It's all about attitude!

Has a Bayou Sound to it, it's interesting, but there are a few issues with the timing on the composition. The Lead Vocals are pretty cool!! I think with a stronger music track this could be super COOL!! Love the Accordion in the composition! The Lead vocal needs to be out front a tad more!! All and all the song has some very sweet elements!!

I am pleased you're creating something so new and unique. It gets tiring listening to songs that are all over produced and auto-tuned to some plastic perfection. There is a feel here that I appreciate. If I were to separate the vocal out and put it on a guitar, we're talking blues....I think? So, blues meets accordion/concertina? I dig that. I like the groove of the piece as well.
